Delicious Beginnings – Part 1

Gadgets and whatnots for your kitchen. . .my recommendations. [NOTE: you are under no obligation to purchase from the link, but if you want it, why not :o)]

I love to cook! It’s one of my favorite things to do and I especially love delicious, taste bud satisfying food. Make no mistake about it, there’s a process to it and the first part to cooking delicious food is cooking with LOVE! The second part is having the right tools in your kitchen to make prep easy. So I will share in this post some of my favorite gadgets. I hope you love them as much as I do.

Garlic is your friend! I use this in practically every dish and I prefer fresh over dried (although if using dried, Litehouse is my favorite brand). Using a GARLIC PEELER is the easiest way to get the skins off your garlic cloves. Simply separate the cloves and slip one into the peeler, roll in back and forth on the counter and whala…a fresh, peeled garlic clove ready to be minced, diced or sliced into a dish.

The next gadget is SILICONE MEASURING CUPS. These flexible measuring cups make pouring into a blender or smaller openings easy. One of the best parts is they are microwaveable when you need warm liquids for your recipes. They are dishwasher safe and BPA free.

The dish above is called Bibimbap and it’s one of my favorite recipes because you can use any combination of vegetables that suit your taste. You also have a choice of protein. Here is a recipe I like to use. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/228240/bibimbap-korean-rice-with-mixed-vegetables/

That’s it for Part 1! Part 2 coming soon and I’ll share one of my favorite recipes in that edition.
