Self Love and Respect

When I love myself, others will love me. When I respect myself, others will respect me. I don’t love and respect myself with the goal is impressing or gaining others approval. Their love and respect becomes a natural by-product of what flows out of my heart and life.  (Colossians 1:10, NIV)

The Lord God has placed purpose within each of us. It is our responsibility to discover, grasp ahold of what HE has put inside, and run with it to make a difference in our world. Everyone’s task is different – one may reach 1,000 while another may reach 100 or 10 or 1. No matter your task, do it fervently and with passion knowing that it is The Lord who has prepared and equipped you. Do not waste what was so freely given to you. Do not depend on others to validate you or place their stamp of approval on what you do. Those who know HIM (have relationship with) have received the best stamp which is the Holy Spirit. Move today in His power with all humility and boldness.
